Anthropologie, one of my favorite stores, is known to keep women in touch with these kinds of things. Here are a couple of items that inspire me to be this way:
Ryzenberg On: Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2011
These gals sure have legs! I mean, Karlie, Anne V and Miranda (Lucky Orlando Bloom) Kerr were amongst many other uber babes who strutted their stuff at the Victoria’s Secret annual parade of all things leather, lace, naughty and nice (oh yeah, and let’s not forget those WINGS!)
This year was another production for the popular retailer, as the show featured six vignettes that consisted of “Ballet,” “Super Angels,” “Passion,” “Angels Aquatic,” “I Put a Spell on You” and “Club Pink.” They, along with the bevy of beauties, sure didn’t disappoint.
Kanye West, Jay-z, (with Beyonce cheering him on) Adam Levine and Nicki Minaj provided ‘some’ of the entertainment, but really the girls really was everything everyone was looking at. They stole the show and the looks were perfect and they were all smiling, which is so refreshing compared to the usual shows during Fashion Month.
What a fun night! Seriously, it’s not everyday you see gorgeous gal with flawless proportions sporting a $2.5M bra and nearly 20 wearing nothing but their skeevies! I enjoyed every second of it, and can’t wait to see what’s in the cards for next year.

So yes, this is the time of the year when I put together my wish list (in hopes it becomes a reality) so listen up!
This time, I am doing things a little bit different. I’ve placed some of the highlights above, but most of my coveteables are available on this nifty new site called Give or Get. It is currently in private beta, but let me know if you’d like to test it!
Give or Get allows you to create gift guides to share with friends so that you don’t get an ugly sweater or toaster during those special milestones in life. Not sure what to get mom for her birthday? Just create a guide with fun presents and select the best one.
This is super handy especially for planning bridal parties, bachelorettes or housewarming. This case, there are no repeats and more importantly, no gift cards as gifts!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SAN FRANCISCO (Nov 23rd, 2011)
Sonas Denim is a new brand of eco-friendly, fashion forward jeans from San Francisco that are taking the city by storm. Today, we launched our new signature line of patched jeans for men and women; they’re sexy, free spirited and so stylish they will wow even the most dedicated fashionistas. Sonas jeans are the only eco-friendly jeans on the market with a portion of our line made from reclaimed denim and all products are made in California. As dedicated animal lovers and having been involved in the animal rights community for the past 11 years, we vow never to use any animal products in our line and we will donate 10% of our net profits to animal rights groups such as Animal Rescue Media and Education. See, http://arme.tv/
I was born in Ireland and was inspired to design these patched jeans after many years of travelling and attending festivals all over the world. “The Burning Man” festival is my noted favorite and Blackrock Desert provided the occasion to be creative in designing my own pants! I had countless people asking me where I got my jeans and where they could find them. Also, my girlfriend kept encouraging me to wear them out in the City and not just for festivals. After a few years of interest and enthusiasm over my patched denim, I decided to bring them to the world. In response to the demand for something edgy and new, we created a variety of cuts and styles tailored to diverse tastes. Our customers are typically young at heart, free spirited, fashion forward, confident, compassionate, conscious, and independent.
We are hoping to begin a revolution in the fashion industry. We plan to motivate the fashion world with our confident, unique designs that express a lifestyle choice to be kind to animals and not to waste. When we say “Spread the Sonas,” we actually want to send a message to the public to pass on goodness and happiness to other living beings. Sonas (Gaelic) Happiness, Felicity, Good Fortune, Bliss. We wanted to provide a thoughtful and socially responsible brand that could lead the industry by example following values that are true to our heart. Our signature patchwork jeans are just the beginning. We already have designed cruelty free sweaters, t-shirts and belts and accessories waiting down the pipeline for production. All these ideas are constructed without taking the skin or fur off of anybody.
Our jeans are distinctive with their signature patchwork composition. A small label in the back doesn’t differentiate our jeans from the rest. It’s the lifestyle and substance of our entire brand that makes Sonas different.
We currently offer a diversity of design cuts for men and women including; skinny, straight, boot and flare. You can buy our jeans online at www.sonasdenim.com and at seven San Francisco stores including: ABS Fits, Rolo on Market, Rolo SOMA, RAG, Zeni Wear, Wonderland and P-Kok Planet.

Thanksgiving just came and went, so it’s time to go search for the perfect statement boot that will not only help you strut your stuff, but also protect you from chilly days.
These styles are perfect, whether you are in sunny California or walking the streets in the North East. Below freezing temperatures are not an excuse to leave fashion behind, and these styles not only are practical, but they will also help you leave a mark.
A few of my picks include:
1. Elegant black booties: Work well with tights and skirts, skinny jeans and even trousers. This is a versatile boot for sure. (Activate Suede Active Boots www.topshop.com)
2. Sorel boots: Perfect for trekking in the snow and works well with jeans and leggings. This is a utility boot, so I hope they don’t become as ubiquitous as UGGS did a few years back. PS: These are not to be worn in warm climate cities. (Sorel Joan of Artic Weather Boots www.mytheresa.com)
3. Riding boots: Another must for fall. A neutral color works well with all the colors seen this season. Pair them for the day with a scarf and denim or even at night with tights, cute accessories and a dress. You’ll sure turn heads. (RALPH LAUREN COLLECTION Vintage Cuoio Half Boots Istara li www.STYLEBOP.com)
4. Velvet peep toe booties: These will be the talk of any holiday party. They are sexy and very sultry. I also like the texture, since velvet elevates them to a more elegant feel. The gold detail makes them luxurious too. (MESSECA Velvet Wedge Sandalswww.theoutnet.com)
5. Top Sider booties: A nautical twist with a hint of winter. These boots are practical for the rain because of its rubber soles. I like the red laces because it really makes them stand out! Very different indeed. (Trinity Boot Lug www.sperrytopsider.com)
Alright so remember, there is a boot on every budget and only pick one of two styles. Make sure to break them in before the bad storm, and with all these tips, you are sure to put your best foot forward into style!

Yes… another Marc by Marc Jacobs post. I can’t seem to let go of how amazing Marc Jacobs is as a designer. So, here’s another compilation of my current favorite Marc by Marc Jacobs items. This look is inspired by the weather we’re currently having in San Francisco. A breezy chill wind with a peaking sun. I can picture this outfit being worn by any woman who loves walking along the streets of the city, carefree and proud, regardless of how chilly it is.
This boot is perfect for those casual outings. It’s high enough to look confident and neutral enough to go with any outfit. Because of it’s loafer style, it has a different twist on many heels you might have in your wardrobe.
This navy floral skirt can be made for multiple use. Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter. Because the floral isn’t so colorful, it can also be utilized for business meetings or work.
Pearl Two-Tone Leather Doctor Bag
A two-tone luggage made to be a classic addition to any outfit. Big enough for the essentials, small enough to lug around without being too heavy.
A cardigan made for the winter with a wool-blend fuzzy texture. A basic made for anyone and perfect for any occasion.
All gold paint of London was used when turning Black Island Studios into a virtual Versace Palace. Hear what the people on the set has to say about the transformation.Donatella Versace offers you a sneak-preview of the amazing, surreal TVC, signed by mastermind director Johan Renck.
One of the things I’m loving now is the Winter Wonderland ready white scarves that I keep spotting everywhere. Celebrities like Kate Moss and Zoe Saldana have already been seen wearing white cashmere scarves with their matching white pea coats or freshening up the look of a classic black overcoat. A white scarf in cashmere, wool, or cotton can make any winter or fall outfit look and feel its most decadent in texture all season. Smooth finishes and alluring graphic prints or embellishments can keep the look cool and trendy. Check out my four finds! Your fit to find one that’s right in your price range, too. Old Navy’s Sequined Sweaterknit Infinity Scarf will have you bundled up in sparkles for a fraction of the others. My personal favorite, the We Are Owls Poster Printed Cashmere Scarf is cute, cuddly, and undeniably cool, Bottega Venetta’s handmade Knitted Wool and Suede Scarfis the ultimate in scarf luxuriousness, and Malene Birger makes a Chunky Wool Knit Scarf is brag-worthy with just a few hints of color.

Sonas Denim was founded by Gerry, an Irish born festival enthusiast living in San Francisco since 2000. Gerry was born in Dublin, Ireland. After traveling to many different festivals and celebrations around the globe, he picked up the handy skill of fashioning his own handmade clothing for these festivities. The clothing ranged broadly, but his patched denim jeans became his signature piece and everybody’s favorite! He custom made over 20 different versions of the patched jeans for his friends before the demand was so large that he needed to take them to the streets. This was the beginning of his unique free-spirited denim company.
When Sonas becomes a success, it will have more of an impact on helping animals and will be a great example to other business to not waste and to be more socially responsible. We want you to support our ideology on business. Gerry has always viewed the jeans as a source of happiness: Sonas. It’s good times. Liberation! Confidence and individuality. Community and celebration. It’s the feeling of exuberance, like the ecstatic high of being with all your best friends at once. We at Sonas thought we would share some of this spirit that has kept us living. We want to be that example that just because you are a company, doesn’t mean you have to forget to give. Help us succeed, so that we can help others succeed too.
All money received is going strait to production. We are paying the sewers, washers, cutters, the people who store our denim, the fit models, the pattern adjusters…and on and on. The more money we receive, the more jeans that we can put into production and have in stores for people to learn about and be inspired by. We wanted to be able to earn capital without handing over more ownership interest in our brand. It’s important for us to stay to true to our values which is why we want to hold onto as much of the company as we can…
Please forward this off to your friends if any of this resonates with you and what you believe in. Help us spread the Sonas and get people to choose something good and look cool at the same time too!!!
