Inclusion and Diversity is a multi-faceted endeavor focused on teamwork and our associates (community partners). SFFaMA.org is confident that a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive fashion industry is within reach.

How is the fashion industry more inclusive? What can fashion do to be more inclusive? People want to be seen, heard, and most of all, represented. An authentic understanding of what representation truly means, and how it relates to the struggle for inclusion and diversity, is most likely what fashion can do to be more inclusive.

Fashion is a means of self-expression. It is a means by which we can explore our personality and portray our true authentic selves. Whether we like it or not, fashion labels and brands have a tremendous influence on our lives. The fashion industry is one of the most influential industries and must use its platform responsibly.

We are working on ways to make fashion more diverse by focusing on areas like showcasing diverse fashion models, expanded scouting of talents and participants representing a colorful fashion community, hosting educational workshops focused on community, diversity and inclusion.
