deeFind brought NY to SF at 'All of the Lights' Fashion Exhibit

  • Dierdre Wallace of deeFind @ http://www.deefind.net/ - Inspired by living in San Francisco, I wanted to design shoes that were quite unique, works of art and offered accessibility to women to really bare all in deeFind shoes. Conceptually futuristic architecture has always been appealing to me: dynamic angles, bold lines, audacious structural gestures – all frequently reflected in my design aesthetic. In keeping with the sensibilities of futurism exploring, the desired outcome was incorporate sustainable materials, while providing drop-dead sexy, eco-friendly products. Working hard to produce the most refined designs I am capable of, as I fanatically search for alternative materials and creative methods. Each handmade pair of deeFind shoes is constructed in humane working conditions with comparable wages.

    Testimonials About SFFAMA's #FASHIONTECHSF

Lindsay Sullivan @ Fashion Tech SF @ http://fashionandtech.net

“The Fashion+Tech event was really beneficial for me because I was able to give advice to the eager attendees who wish to start an online fashion business. It is so important to have a community of people where we can share our successes and losses and learn from each other. I connected with many people at the end of the event, and was able to share more information based on their specific questions. I learned a lot from the other panel members, and all in all this was a fabulous networking event!”

“I had a great time talking all things e-commerce with Owen Geronimo, Brad Carrick, and the rest of the speakers. Thanks Owen for putting together a strong panel. SFFAMA looks as strong as ever… I’m looking forward to more events!”

Stephanie Wong @ Rodan + Fields

Thank you Owen Geronimo and SFFAMA for the opportunity to share my Rodan + Fields business with your members. It was truly an honor to be part of a professionally-run organization that so genuinely embraces the ‘Fashion+Tech’ community here in San Francisco. The evening surpassed my expectations as the packed standing-room only was filled with excitement and energy and an audience that was genuinely engaged and interactive.

    Mike Borozdin @ Docutech

“It was a pleasure to present at SFFAMA on Oct 20th at the Fashion + Tech workshop.  The room was packed and the sessions ran long because the audience was so engaged.  What sets apart San Francisco fashion scene from some of the other markets is the innovation that happens with designs, business models and technology.  It was great to be able to get into advanced topics of running promotions, using partners for marketing, utilizing online resources like DocuSign for eSignatures and Google Analytics. In addition to sharing my knowledge I actually learned quite a bit from other presenters as well.  Brad’s innovative way to raising funds for Solz Shoes through IndieGoGo, Jess’s Lam SEO marketing tips from StyleSays and Lindsay Sullivan’s story of starting the Set Buitique were all informative and memorable.”

“I’ve only known Owen Geronimo for a short time, but am impressed at the effort he puts into SFFAMA. Owen gets to the point and does his best to help entrepreneurs in the local fashion industry understand they have to think about themselves as more than just designers, but business people. He continues to look for ways to blend technology with fashion and is working tirelessly to rejuvenate the fashion industry in San Francisco.”
