Learn the steps of the process from the TEG team, who have together launched over 750 clothing lines, who will be on hand to share their insights and tips to save you time and money. Meet other emerging designers and have your questions on the process answered, while enjoying an afternoon in TEG's picturesque San Francisco studio.

Event Series Overview:

TEG International announces its “Launch Your Line” Workshop Series in San Francisco. In an effort to educate and inspire independent designers and fashion entrepreneurs, TEG is rolling out the monthly instructional and event series to showcase our development and small volume production processes. The series will span five months and offer sessions that focus on everything from launching your clothing line to industry mixers and client showcases.

Each two-hour workshop will feature an informational session by Founder, Jennifer Evans, and members of the TEG team, showing guests how to take an idea from inception to end product. In addition, industry mixers and client showcases will spotlight guest TEG designers who will be featured with their work and collections. The series will then conclude in May with the TEG Pop-Up showcasing collections from TEG Alumni and finds from TEG Voyage travels.

StyleT.ag launched an engagement platform for the web and the StyleTag mobile fashion app specifically for professional content users such as fashion designers [menswear/womenswear]. As part of the launch program, Stylet.ag sponsored local fashion designers, photographers and stylists to test their fashion app for 90 days. Each participant that completed the three month marketing study qualified for an honorarium in the amount of $1,500 in support to start their collections and fashion projects. She will cover the manufacturing sector, the increase in the number of apparel/accessory product design companies and how San Francisco brand helps locally manufactured products differentiate themselves in the marketplace. Janet Lees played a lead role in launching SFMade and has been with the organization since its inception. As SFMade’s Senior Director, Janet oversees SFMade’s educational programming, the Local Retail/Brand platform, workforce programs, and the organization’s marketing communications strategy. Janet also oversees the City of San Francisco’s Fashion SF initiative. Janet has over 20 years of experience in small business, workforce, and economic development. Prior to SFMade, Janet served as Program Director at Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center, a position she held for over 10 years. Under Janet’s leadership the Renaissance Center became the first and only organization in the Bay Area to provide industry specific support to apparel entrepreneurs, expanded its footprint to operate in three Bay Area locations, and received numerous national awards for program innovation and excellence.
